What About Alcohol?

Most hard liquor has no carbs. They still have calories you need to account for. Another consideration with alcohol is that for every drink you have it pauses ketosis approximately one hour. You are not knocked out of ketosis so once the alcohol is burned out you will return to ketosis.
Beer is more complicated. Most traditional beers have 15-25g of carbs per serving. There are light beers available and these have the same pause as described above. Low carb beers typically have 2.5 to 4.0g of carbs per serving. Below is a list I found showing the most carb friendly beers.
