Diet or Lifestyle?

A lot of people say things like "the keto diet" but is it really a diet? If your only goal is to lose weight, then yes it's a diet. Most people that diet eventually revert back to their old ways of eating when they reach their weight loss goal. The cycle would likely continue as they gain weight back and eventually diet once again. There are many other health benefits from following this way of eating that you give up if you give up on eating this way. Things such as diabetes, blood pressure, and inflammation. Making this a lifestyle will continue the health benefits beyond reaching your weight goals.
So hopefully for most the choice is making this a lifestyle. But for some it's just a diet. Make it what it needs to be in your life.
